The assessment process
How the assessment works
We combine a clinical examination by a physiotherapist with specialised devices, then bring the results together into a single, clear evaluation.
- 1Clinical examination by a physiotherapist
- 2Foot and balance assessment
- 3Measuring joint range of motion and muscle shortening
- 4Spine analysis and testing
- 5Movement tests and manual examination

Diagnostics
Scope of the assessment
Overall evaluation
A summary of the key assessment parameters for each part of the body: muscles, joints, spine, feet and balance.
Body segments
An evaluation of each body segment based on the results and calculations of all the tests carried out by the physiotherapist and the devices.
Spine analysis
Results of the 3D posture and movement analysis with the MOTI Physio device, together with movement and manual tests. The score evaluates the shape of your spine and how your vertebrae work together standing and in movement.
Muscle assessment
Precise device recordings of your range of motion let us evaluate the degree of muscle shortening and the related musculoskeletal imbalances.
Joint assessment
Device-based and clinical examinations let us evaluate the functional state of your joints.
Foot and balance assessment
A sensor platform shows the arch of your foot and how your muscles and joints work together. A battery of balance tests, together with clinical tests, evaluates the function of your postural muscles – the so-called “core”.
Assessment report
Results you’ll understand
A sample of the clear report from a MOTI Physio assessment. Your physiotherapist will go through the results with you and suggest the next steps.
